Apparently 67ers had the last word the first time, a 3-1 win on Friday, June 12. The rematch belonged to the Boogeymen, 6-3, and it belonged to Raz most of all.
Here is the swing. Apparently 67ers threw 40 hits, an unusually high total, and the Boogeymen threw 13. The hit count went one way and the shot count went the other. The Boogeymen out-shot Apparently 67ers 25 to 16. They also had 543 seconds of attack time, more than the other side.
The one cold spot was the power play, which went 0 for 3. That makes it no goal in 7 chances over 4 games, and that drought is still waiting for somebody to end it.
Raz is the headliner. He scored three goals and set up two more. That is 5 points, and his 6s average is 2.4. He put 9 shots on net to get there, so nobody should call this a fluke.
Beev was right behind him. He scored twice and added two assists, a 4-point game. His 6s average is 1.9, so this one was big for him. Z Wang chipped in a goal and two assists from the blue line.
Joey Flopfish did his work from the back end too. His two assists took him to 200 assists this title, a big round number in a game where the forwards in front of him kept finishing.
That was the 4th win of the night. The record now reads 107-29-11. Apparently 67ers won the hit count; the Boogeymen won the game, and that is the column that counts.
