Silky scores six as the Boogeymen flatten Wet Milkmen

Silky scored 6 goals and added 4 assists against Wet Milkmen. Both his 10 points and his 15 shots were career highs in 3s. He has now scored in 8 straight games.

Joey Flopfish kept pace beside him. He scored 4 goals with 5 assists for 9 points. That is also a career high in 3s. His goal streak now runs to 5 games. One of those goals took him to 50 goals this title.

The final was 10-1. That is the most goals the club has scored in a 3s game this season, and the biggest win in the mode. It was the fifth straight win and the sixth of the night.

The underlying numbers were just as lopsided. The Boogeymen out-shot Wet Milkmen 23-9. They out-hit them 21-3, the fourth game in a row the club has won the hit count. The goals came in every period, 4 of them in the third. Wet Milkmen scored once, also in the third.

In net, Matteo Lehmann faced 9 shots and stopped 8, an 88.9% game.

The scoring will take the headlines, and it earned them. Under it sat 23 shots and 21 hits, both unusually high for the club in 3s. Nothing on this line calls for a correction.
