The Boogeymen needed a win and got one in the first game. A 2-0 shutout of Blurky Yoints ended a run of 3 straight losses. Igor Orlov scored both goals. The first came at 15:46 of the 1st. The second came at 09:55 of the 3rd. Silky assisted on each, and Matteo Lehmann made 18 saves on 18 shots.
It kept going. The Boogeymen beat Sonks of Anarchy 4-1. Joey Flopfish had 2 goals and 2 assists, and that game also brought the 250th goal of the title. Then the Boogeymen beat Lisa Annvalanche 6-5 in overtime.
Silky owned that overtime game. Silky had 4 goals and 2 assists for 6 points. His goals were a season high in 3s. Silky reached 50 goals this title in it.
Igor Orlov reached 50 assists this title on the same night. He had 3 assists against Lisa Annvalanche, big for him. His 3s average is 1.6 over 13 games.
The night ended with a 6-2 loss to Planet Gearth, Igor Orlov and Silky with the goals. The club is now 43-15-5.
The number that should still worry the club is in net. In both 3s games the AI goalie faced 13 shots. Jonas Wagner saved 61.5% of them and Matteo Lehmann saved 53.8%. Both were meltdowns in net.
The correction is volume. In each 3s game the Boogeymen had 15 shots, an unusually low total. The club's norm in that mode is 19.6. The 6s shutout was tidier: 23 shots and 678 seconds of attack time.
Three wins is a good night, and Silky's 50th goal gave it a headline. The 15-shot totals in 3s are the part to clean up.
