Silky scores 4 as the Boogeymen outlast Lisa Annvalanche in overtime

Overtime in 3s, and the Boogeymen came out of it 6-5 winners over Lisa Annvalanche. Silky ran the show with 4 goals and 2 assists for a 6-point game. The goals were a season high in 3s. That made it the 3rd win of the night, with no loss yet.

Now the swing that made this one sweat. The Boogeymen had only 15 shots, an unusually low total, and less time on attack than the opponent for the first time in 4 games. Lisa Annvalanche put 27 hits on them, unusually high. And in net, Jonas Wagner made 8 saves on 13 shots for 61.5%. That is a meltdown, no way around it, and it is why a 6-goal game still needed extra time.

Silky is the headliner, and the numbers back it up. Silky reached 50 goals this title in this game. The 6 points lift the season total to 130.

Igor Orlov gets the co-star billing. He reached 50 assists this title. He scored 2 goals. He also set season highs in 3s with 3 assists and 8 hits. His 3s average is 1.6 assists over 13 games, so this was a big game for him by his own standard. Between them, Silky and Igor Orlov carried the scoresheet.

Fifteen shots, six goals, an overtime win and two milestones. Only in 3s, folks, and that is exactly why I love this format.
