Two goals up, then level, then a winner in overtime. The Boogeymen beat 4th Line 4-3 in a game that refused to sit still, and Z Wang closed it out in extra time with assists from Erb and Igor Orlov. That made it the 2nd win of the night with no loss yet.

The swing came late in the 3rd. Silky's second goal made it 3-1, and the game looked settled. Then 4th Line scored at 18:51 and 19:08, two goals inside the final minutes of regulation, and a comfortable game turned into a coin toss.

The frustrating part is that the Boogeymen owned most of the numbers. They out-shot 4th Line 25 to 15 and had 762 seconds of attack time, both unusually high for this club. 4th Line answered with 39 hits, also unusually high, and the passing sat at 66.7%, unusually low. Heavy pressure in the attack numbers, and a messy finish on the scoreboard.

The hero spotlight goes to Silky first. He scored 2 goals on 8 shots. His 6s average as a forward is 0.8 goals a game over 20 games, so this was a big game by his own measure. He added an assist for 3 points.

Z Wang matched him with 3 points and the winner, and his 7 shots were a season high in 6s. His point streak now runs 8 games. Erb picked up 2 assists, and his own streak keeps rolling at 17 games.

4th Line found a spark at the death. Z Wang found the last word.
